With Bobby Green withdrawing from his UFC 222 bout against Beneil Dariush, the door was opened for Texas prospect Alexander „The Great“ Hernandez to make his Octagon debut against the No. 11-ranked lightweight on March 3 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In the UFC 222 main event, which airs live on Pay-Per-View, Cris Cyborg defends her UFC women’s featherweight title against Yana Kunitskaya.

Owner of an 8-1 pro record, the 25-year-old Hernandez brings a six-fight winning streak that includes four finishes into his showdown with Dariush, who has won seven of his last 10, with wins over Jim Miller, Michael Johnson and James Vick.
