Two-division champion Jones (27-1 1NC, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M. by way of Endicott, N.Y.) looks to secure his first heavyweight title defense. Among the best fighters ever, he has earned spectacular wins over former champions Rashad Evans, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Jones now aims to add to his legacy by stopping Miocic in emphatic fashion.

Greatest heavyweight of all time Miocic (20-4, fighting out of Independence, Ohio) plans to become the first fighter to finish Jones. A two-time champion, Miocic holds memorable victories against Daniel Cormier (twice), Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum. Miocic now intends to join Randy Couture in the history books by capturing the heavyweight title for a third time.
