The new main event comes after original headliner Anderson Silva was removed from the card due to a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on October 26, 2017.
The card, which takes place at Mercedes Benz Arena, airs live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS.
After putting together one of the greatest years in UFC history in 2016, as he defeated Silva, Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson in succession, England’s Bisping headlined the biggest card of 2017 when he faced the returning St-Pierre. Bisping would lose a hard-fought battle to the Canadian, but the 38-year-old eagerly accepted a quick turnaround against fellow Ultimate Fighter winner Gastelum, who is unbeaten in three of his last four bouts with wins over Johny Hendricks and Tim Kennedy.
