New undisputed featherweight champion Max Holloway surged up the pound-for-pound rankings in this week’s release on the heels of his third-round TKO win against longtime champion Jose Aldo.

Holloway’s seven-spot jump puts him at No. 5 on the p-4-p list, behind Demtrious Johnson (1), Conor McGregor (2), Daniel Cormier (3), and Stipe Miocic (4). The heavyweight champion took the place of Aldo, who dropped six spots down to No. 10 on the same list.
In the bantamweight division, Marlon Moraes dropped his debut fight in the UFC against No. 3-ranked Raphael Assuncao by split decision. Moraes brought a 13-fight win streak with him into the UFC and falls at No. 10 in the rankings following the close loss in his debut.
