Relentlessly positive and upbeat, Northcutt used his Norfolk Octagaon interview following his win to tell the audience to keep their hopes up “whatever kinds of problems you might be going through, if you’re having a hard time at work, maybe with your family…you can overcome that!” Judging by the reaction of the crowd in attendance and the eruption of online love, his message might just be resonating.
