With Abel Trujillo forced to withdraw from UFC 216 on Oct. 7, lightweight veteran Bobby „King“ Green as agreed to step in and face Lando Vannata at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC 216 airs live on Pay-Per-View. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, Aug. 31.

Winner of eight of his last 11 bouts, Green is a former Strikeforce standout who has won four UFC fights over Jacob Volkmann, James Krause, Pat Healy and Josh Thomson. In his most recent bout in April, the Californian lost a split decision to Rashid Magomedov, but he can crash back into the win column this fall when he faces exciting rising star Vannata, who has won post-fight bonuses in all three of his UFC fights against Tony Ferguson, John Makdessi and David Teymur.
