A legend will make the walk to the Octagon for the final time on May 12, as Vitor Belfort faces fellow Brazilian MMA icon Lyoto Machida in a UFC 224 bout at Jeunesse Arena in Belfort’s hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Belfort, 40, has announced that this fight will be his last. A former light heavyweight champion, Belfort is coming off a June 2017 victory in Rio over Nate Marquardt and he hopes to repeat that winning result when he meets another former 205-pound champ in Machida, who is fresh from a win over Eryk Anders earlier this month.
